Any workarounds for vista when hyperthreading is disabled or enabled?
Vista was running fine so I decided to experiment with bios settings to see how the os reacted. I disabled hyperthreading due to a few apps that seem to perform better when disbaled. When vista started up it immediately crashed with a hal error. I reenabled hyperthreading and it still gave me the same error. I resinstalled vista with hyperthreading off and it worked fine.

BSOD whend hyperthreading is disabled.
